I went to the post office next door to the bank to buy stamps. I realized I only had $100 bill in my wallet. The post office did not have the change for it. I decided to go to the bank next door (Chemical Bank) to break my bill. One of the tellers asked me if I had an account there. I stated "No, I do not". The teller then said, "I will do it THIS time", but if you don't have an account here, I cannot do it again." WHAT??? Are you kidding me?!! This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. I would keep my $$ under my mattress before I would EVER bank here. My credit union and my bank would NEVER treat a prospective customer like this! Shameful.
